ABOUT ME

I grew up in the Chicago area and went to school at Columbia College in Chicago where I graduated with a B.F.A. in Photography. My early interests in photography began with architectural and still life photography. I have professionally pursued these passions by doing product photography for nearly a decade and shooting real estate for the last two years. Though much of the world has moved on to digital photography, I still manage to practice traditionally in film. I love shooting with medium and large format cameras and maintaining my personal darkroom.

My personal work reflects my interests in a variety of subjects, with a focus on science and biology. Creating worlds in a fantastical way with a sense of familiarity is a passion of mine. I believe that creativity should be fun, cathartic, challenging and intentional while invoking interpretive debate.
